How To Deal With Moldy Marble

The kitchen and bathroom have been in a humid environment for a long time, so the marble countertop is prone to mold, which not only affects the beauty of marble appearance, but affects the health.So how to deal with the moldy marble? We are divided into light and dark marble processing methods.

1. For light-colored mildewed marble

First,stop using water,open the windows, and ventilate the bathroom vanity top and  wall to dry.

Second, use a cleaning pad sprayed with emery on one side, dipped in VD stone pigment remover to clean.The mildew will disappear after the above treatment.

Finally, protective treatment is required. After drying on the bathroom wall of the sink for about one day, you can use VD stone permeability protectant for care.Keep it well ventilated when using marble vanity top and wipe the water stains on the dry sink and bathroom wall in time.

2.For dark mildewed marble

Take a wet sponge and gently wipe the moldy areas on the marble countertop.

If the mildew cannot be removed after wiping, you can use heavy calcium carbonate and hydrogen peroxide to make an ointment for later use. Apply the ointment to the moldy area and wrap it in a plastic bag to seal the area with the ointment. After the ointment is dry, rinse the marble surface with clean water to remove the ointment, and the mildew will be removed.It can also be used for marble cabinet

To prevent mildew on the marble cabinets,do not put hot pots or hot water boilers directly on the marble cabinets when cooking, and do not hit the marble surface with sharp objects.
